A graphic designer living and creating in Southern California
I am a living example of a right-brained person. I live to create and I am so turned off by anything logical and structured. I am authority figure adverse.
I used to think that when I was born, I didn't receive the same instruction journal that everyone else received. When I was five years old and should have been playing with my dolls, I felt I had to solve the mystery of what happened after we died. Needless to say, I scared everyone off in my kindergarden class.
Since I was a little girl, I have always had a need to produce something tangible, that is aesthetically pleasing. I love to cook, crochet, knit, take photos, paint, draw, illustrate collage, and web design. Unfortunately, I am a jack of all trades, master of none. As an art major (my dear mom always equated my major to a glorified hobby) which led to a career as a graphic designer, I proved to my parents that I could make a living with my art, though not a lucrative one.
I am divorced and have been a single mom for many years. I have two beautiful daughters who are doing wonderful things in the world. I live in Los Angles, and cannot imagine living anywhere else. This has to be the most diverse place on earth.
