I lived in Pasadena so long, when I hear the word parade, I immediately think roses. It is amazing how beautiful the floats are and how much work goes into each and every one.

Yes, so true! We saw the parade in 14 years ago - it's something everyone should see in person. They're so incredibly beautiful. Love your illo.

I grew up in Pasadena, too and thought of Rose Parade, but couldn't think of how I could illustrate it without embarassing myself! You did a great job.
