After almost two months of warm sunny days, we finally had rain last weekend. Not only that, but the temperatures have dropped to almost freezing at night. I love the way people in LA go crazy when it rains or gets cold. If it rains more than two days in a row, the suicide rate goes up significantly. No one goes out, for fear of having their fake tan wash off. Crimes actually do go down, because no one likes to drive in the rain. Of course the accident rate triples, because the freeways are like someone poured olive oil on them and no one can drive on a wet street without hitting into someone.
It has been cold enough at night to actually see your breath. Luckily for me, I have been on a knitting kick and have been prolifically producing scarfs since October. I hope everyone who received one from me at Christmas, wears it this week before it goes back up to 80 degrees this weekend. Maybe next year I can graduate to hats. More about my knitting at a later date. If you live in my area, keep warm and I'll see you at Starbucks.
I love blog...your a witty writer!
