Since I missed a great photo op yesterday with the snowman, I decided to make it a practice of taking my camera when I go on my morning walk/jog. Luckily, I was able to capture the invasion of the bunnies. I guess it's a sign that Easter is coming, but I was surprised to see this cute little rabbit sitting in someones front yard. I'm sure he must have been a pet that got loose, but none of the neighbors were home. Then I went a little further, and low and behold, there was another one in the next yard. You know how fast rabbits multiply!!!!
Of course I worried all day about their safety, but I am sure they survived. Rabbits don't have collars, and try catching one. They sure are cute but I don't think they should be kept in cages as pets. Especially in California because when the weather gets hot, they bake. I can't tell you how many children are scarred for life after finding their rabbit on a hot summer day, well done. Of course you can't keep them in the house, because as cute as they are, they stink and constantly release pellets. So if you are getting your child a rabbit for Easter, be sure you put air-conditioning in its cage.
