The Getty Center, Los Angeles

While my sister was visiting last week we did a museum crawl and the top of the list was The Getty Museum in Brentwood.  As it turned out, the weather was too fabulous to ignore the beautiful landscape, architecture, open spaces, gardens and views, so we spent most of the time outside.  This is one of my favorite museums, not because of the content, but the over all elements that make you feel like you are in a creative trance that you hope you will never come out of. If anyone lives here or visits Los Angeles, I highly recommend visiting this place. They also have a fabulous restaurant, cafe and you can even picnic on the grounds if you really want to make a fun day out of it.  I live really close by and I wonder why I don't go more often than I do.
